#TF4WOMEN GREECE

Accelerating the professional inclusion of refugee & asylum seeking women in Greece in digital and tech jobs!

In Summer 2021 we opened a Techfugees Inclusion Office in Athens in order to expand our impact in Europe implementing our flagship programme: the #TF4Women Fellowship!

Starting in November 2021, the 6-month free programme will provide one-on-one mentoring support from tech, digital and HR experts as well as educational online training and networking activities. The final goal? Be the bridge between refugee women talents and companies seeking to grow thanks to diverse and international teams.

For whom?

This programme is for you if:  You are a woman or you recognize yourself as a woman; You are either a refugee or you have applied for your asylum; You are 18+ years old, which makes you capable of working, as an adult, in Greece;  You are able to write and communicate in English in a comfortable way (if you can also use the Greek language, it is a plus!); You are willing to commit for 6 months to participate in the programme by devoting time and effort; You want to access a technological or digital job in specialties such as web development or design, data analysis, web marketing, IT Support, WordPress & Woocommerce etc. You know how to use basic functionalities on a computer & basic softwares (Google Workplace…); You want to develop your job-search skills and knowledge about the local labor market.

WHAT DOES THE FELLOWSHIP OFFER?


Weekly collective online sessions (and some IRL meetings)

A duo of tech and digital experts to support your progress

Free access to an online platform in order to develop your technical skills at your own pace

Networking activities in order to explore the variety of work environments offered by tech and digital jobs and build your professional network

A toolkit for job search and knowledge about the local job market

Educational and practical language skills in English

IT equipment as well as socio-psychological and logistic support to get the most out of the programme!
